Is your child preparing for an ARTS High School audition? Or perhaps your child would like to master just how to nail their performance for an upcoming audition? Then join us at one of our upcoming audition workshops lead by Tammy Frederick, professional performer, author and vocal coach.
Tammy is a Triple-Threat performer/Director, professional Vocal Coach, and Author. She has trained extensively in the disciplines of singing, acting, and dancing. Her training began at a young age and she continued training throughout high school and right through College in a Triple-Threat Training program. She began performing in full length musicals right out of school and has been performing regularly ever since. She has had the honour of performing many wonderful roles including; Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Best Actress Award), Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie(Best Actress Award), Sally Brown in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown(Best Supporting Actress Award), Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, and most recently the Narrator in Joseph in the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Tammy has worked as a Producer, Director, Music Director and Choreographer on numerous projects over her career. She has had the honour of training many young and adult performers through private coaching, Master Workshops, Group Classes, Choirs, and Triple-Threat Bootcamps. Tammy was also a featured columnist for Canadian Musician magazine for many years.
Tammy opened her Private Vocal Studio in Toronto in 2002 where she has trained over a thousand voices and she wrote her book Simply Sing based on her vocal method in 2012. Her studio is now located in downtown Aurora.

Maximum 12 participants
Please come to the first workshop with a print out of your audition requirements from your arts school, including selections if given any. This is critical so we get started on the right foot the first day.
This workshop is NOT limited to arts school applicants. Open to ANY teen as the material covered will be applicable to ANY audition
Please bring water, small snack/meal if desired, notebook, and a recording device.

A workshop for kids
3 sessions, two hours each

singing, dancing, and acting
Kids will be taught how to use the materials you are handed at any audition and how to break it down to perform it like a pro.
Participants will be emailed a monologue to memorize prior to the start of the program. Vocal material will be custom chosen to suit your child's vocal range,
All material will be used during the workshop.
Please bring water, notebook, and a recording device.
